Sherrie is a passionate, eclectic designer and illustrator with experience in commercial retail and alternative markets. Choosing not to limit herself to the confines of a single house style, Sherrie has developed a diverse portfolio of visual style through her adopted philosophical and creative approach, Graphic Alchemy. An avid believer in creative evolution, Sherrie constantly researches and experiments with different visual styles and mediums to further enhance and develop her artistic techniques: traditional and digital illustration, glass etching, collage, lettering, book arts, textiles, and photography.
Her commercial design and illustration portfolio includes projects from Sony Pictures, Wolfgang Puck, and Capitol Records. Sherrie is also active in community and cultural projects such as local festivals in the S.F. Bay Area, and independent films—one of which was displayed at the Sundance and the Toronto Film Festival.
Sherrie’s diverse background as a classical piano teacher, tattoo artist, and graphic designer has molded her creative landscape into a myriad of media and style. She credits the art and philosophies of Ancient Civilizations, Past and Contemporary Artists, Ethnic Cultures, Pop and Modern Movements as major influences.
