Steven Noble After graduating from the University of California, Davis, Steven began a career in commercial illustration with a special emphasis on black and white line art. Over the years he's created a style around the scratchboard medium that encompasses a wide range of detail and style. For example, if a client requests a woodcut style, he will adapt to that technique, i.e., line drawing in pen and ink, traditional engraving style in scratchboard, or a stylized scratchboard style. He also provides more flexibility by allowing the option of adding color to the same black and white image. Additionally, his style covers a wide range of subject matter such as product, food, nature, maps, portraits, architecture and corporate conceptual images. | |
